About me

I specialise in traditional Chinese acupuncture based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) philosophy that Yin and Yang elements found in nature exist, in everyone and everywhere. Life needs balance and if the Yin and Yang within your body becomes out of balance, this affects its ability to perform properly. Acupuncture can provide an effective solution for many conditions.

I originally came from China, Guangzhou city. It is a very traditional city; people there understand the TCM philosophy and the Five elements theory naturally, and apply it in their daily life. I remember that my parents always boiled soup with some herbs which helps the body to remain in balance. My brother is a local acupuncturist and herbalist. I was brought up in such an atmosphere so for me, TCM philosophy and acupuncture points are naturally rooted within my body. Therefore my son and my family all benefit from these ancient forms, such as Tui Na, Gua Sha, and Moxa. These experiences really encouraged me to become an acupuncturist to be able to help others. That is why I decided to study and practice the wonderful unique form of medicine. I have a diploma in paediatric acupuncture, a certificate for Master Tung Bleeding and a certificate for infant massage. I believe the more I learn, the more I can help others be the best version of themselves and to find that true balance that we all need.

My aims are to help you:

  • Restore, promote and maintain good health

  • Establish equilibrium within the body

  • Get you back to health as quickly as possible

  • Improve your lifestyle, diet or exercise through advice if needed

I have a particular interest in helping a variety of health issues such as musculoskeletal conditions, pains, sports injuries, women’s period issues, digestive problems, childrens growing issues, anxiety, depression and many more.

I treat each patient’s problem as a unique case. An individualised treatment plan is designed during an initial appointment to understand the underlying causes of any imbalances.

I very much look forward to meeting you and sharing this ancient form of acupuncture with you
